Butters plays for the Albion if/when he plays he will get my support.
But if the club and butters get annoyed by this where is their sense of humour.
Good article and a bit of advertising for the club and hopefully some other club might now come in for Butters.

So where are all the NSC wooses suddenly coming from?

Butters gets EXACTLY what he deserves. It's a civilised, witty and rightly humiliating response to a bloke who played hard to get last close season, finally earned himself the payload, and like Kitson, proceeded to milk the club dry when it could ill afford it. Not saying he did it intentionally (well not with this country's libel laws aye?) but the bloke is supposed to be an athlete and he turns up looking like a barrel of lard. He's had a year to get it off ferfuxsake. Every other bugger is doing the Atkins Diet and the lardass could probably have a trough of bacon & eggs every morning for the first sitting of his breakfast and STILL lose weight.

Put it this way: If the 4K a week figure is anywhere near correct then TEN Albion fans are shelling out for a season ticket, or for tickets for twenty home matches, simply to pay for a single week's board and lodgings for the LardMasterGeneral.

Personally I blame the inept mug who signed him - Grrrrr.... ???

Going back To Talk Sport this afternoon.

They mentioned it on the Hawksby and Jacobs show (One of them remembered him playing for Spurs). They spoke to the guy who wrote GullHanger. (can't remember his name right now, Tom?which is embarrasing as I was talking to him at the Nelson only 2 weeks ago).

The general gist was that he was a good player but that he wasn't (er) as fit as he used to be!

Bobby was also mentioned. Our guy confirmed what we all believe. He said that we weren't angry at Bobby going but the amount he went for. He added it was needed for the ground that Albion desperatley needed. (He was phoning from Crete). H & J agreed that we needed a ground.

***

Just looked it up on the Nelson photos.

The guys name was Mike Ward.

If he really is on £2,500 a week and is as lardy as suggested I think he deserves all he has got. Shape up Guy or ship out!

wasn't just talksport. i was listening to 5 live whilst stuck on the M25 cause of robbie f***ing williams, and they interviewed Ian Hart about it. he basically said butters is a tub of lard, they all seemed to find the whole thing rather amusing...

I just missed Harty on 5live - heard them talking after he had left though.

What else did he say - did he defend Butters or did he slag him off ?

Talk Sport found the whole thing amusing as well!

Which is why all this kind of thing should be kept local. Going onto a national, nay global, website makes us a laughingstock and I don't like that.

If Butters turns out to be a useful player this season, he is going to get a lot of stick now wherever he goes. I'm sure the club is very grateful.

I saw Butters in a couple of games last season and was not impressed apart from seeing the largest arse in football!!! If he has worked hard and improved on his game then good luck to him a new season a new start!!!:lolol:

Perhaps as a first post back on the new board this is a touch contriversial, but that Sun article's the funniest thing I've seen in ages. Would losing Butters over this be a bad thing? Really?

This is hardly going to do his confidence any good. Nor is having his squad number swapped with RPFG.

I think its out of order, BUT any of us can make a joke on here at someones expense. We dont know that the national tabloids will pick up on it.

How many of you have really seen him play? He was shit at Barnet. He got skinned by someone (and thats an achievement in a 90 minute game)

I blame tinker Taylor. grrr

A very nice pair.

But who are they? And why has the Leicester girl decided to turn her shirt into some sort of crop-top? As a shirt, that makes me so mad...
