Mr popkins, I think you're going OTT with this to be honest. Personally I cannot believe a national tabloid saw fit to put this in their newspaper! It's not really EK or JHC fault that that happened is it?

Blimey, all he's done is say "I think Butters is fat and useless" in public. Yet apparently that is out of order whereas you seem to have Tony "shoot me in the back" Martin as a national hero.

Do me a favour.

Popkins just shut your fat mouth, is butter's your brother or something, he's fat and shit and we are paying for his supersized mcdonalds. I dunno how that makes you feel but it makes me angry, I hope Butter's has a good cry into his whopper and Pizza tonight.

but to put one of your own players on e-bay is beyond a joke!!
i hope you eat humble pie next season when he puts in good performances.

i support any player that wears the brighton kit. it makes me ashamed to be a brighton supported at times like this.

the Tony martin issue is a seperate thing and my opinons on that matter should not be brought up regarding this.

errr I have and not just for Brighton.

When he was at Pompey he was quite good, and the same at Gillingham, solid, no nonsense. He's crap now, he was utterly disgraceful at Fratton Park last season.

It's not e-bay. It's a far more obscure site.
And why would I need to eat humble pie? I haven't criticised him away from this site, and I really hope he plays well too - then he might justify his wages. I have never ever booed an Albion player when at the game.

The fact is that Guy Butters has been fat and useless since he got here, and some fans don't like it. If you don't approve of people "abusing" our players in public then that is up to you. Personally it doesn't bother me as I think he's asked for it. But the worst thing is seeing these dumb "aww I feel sorry I criticised him" posts. Bloody hell, get a grip - try thinking before you act then.

Fairynuff mate. I think NSC is THE place you SHOULD slag off your players if you're going to do it at all. Just get right behind them when they're on the pitch.

I was at the Crawley friendly and didn't see Butters play (just waddle about or stand there like a bucket of lard

Maybe his kit should be sponsored by Echo the cooking margarine makers

If NSC sponsors his kit I for one will want a refund

And I'm prepared to tell the man so

Is he fit now? I haven't seen him this season but if he's got himself in shape, then I have to agree that what's happened is OTT. If not, he deserves all the stick he's getting as he's obviously taking the piss.

Who's the Nathan Smith that is quoted in the Sun.?

Just wondering how the Sun got hold of him for a comment

Have they made him up or is he a real person?

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
I feel no sympathy for Butters at all, hes been fleecing the club for the last year now. If id put as much work as he has into my job over the last year I would have been booted out months ago.

It was only a joke anyway, he should see the funny side.
The sooner he goes the better in my opinion, then we could get 2 decent players in who want to play for the Albion and not sit around picking up his wages for doing nothing.

Hands up who was pleased when we first signed him?

I thought Hinsh had genuinely made a great signing when he first brought Guy in as he had a glowing reputation and served Portsmouth well - he was a first teamer there for years. I'd rather we give him a subtle hint that we're less then pleased with his lack of professionalism shall I say in this manner rather then screaming obscenities at him from the terraces. It IS just a joke and I hope Guy sees the funny side of it, tries a bit harder from now and makes us all eat humble pie. As much as I can't see that happening.

It brought a very wide smile to my face after reading it !!
Old Guy didn't do much last season, let's hope it gives him a kick up the lard butt !!
All this 'anyone in the stripes' bollocks. They are doing a job, if a better offer comes along, they go.
Bye buy Guy ??
