Friday Night Pub in Brighton

I'm in the throws of organising a stag in Brighton and looking for a decent pub Friday night that serves good Ale. People will be arriving at different times so although we'll be there all night it will need to be relatively accessible for everyone. Nothing loud but not dull with plenty of space.

Any help gratefully received.

Nothing on West Street. Best real ale pubs are tiny - Hand in Hand in Kemp Town, Lion & Lobster Sillwood St. Near the station is the Trafalgar in Guildford Road - damn good ale. The Cricketers in Black Lion St.

I always like the atmosphere in the Pump House near Fat Leo's/Donatellos, probably my favourite night out pub in the town. Even though I live in Hove I don't like drinking there

Will be staying there for most of the night although may try a couple of the recommendations. Have verified most on the site below and will be directing the three Saints fans to the Bulldog.
