I’ve decided to have a light beer or two. Don’t judge me but it’s Fosters. It’s all that was in the fridge but surprisingly nice in this heat.
Cold glass from the freezer. Yeah, I’m embracing it I think.

I'm on my second Moosehead Lager. Will select a bottle of wine after that, feeling kind of Sauvignony.

Mrs Spongy is due to drop little Ms Spongy no2 in 6 days.

I can't drink as I'm expecting to have to drive to the hospital at 3am very soon.....

Can't risk having a drink in case it comes early.

Not being able to drive to hospital really won't go down very well!

I'd love to be smashing into some ciders right now. Why did I open this thread:tantrum:

All the best, it’ll be worth it!

I’ve moved onto an IPA Gold. Two of those and I’m gonna climb the wooden hill to Bedford. Lovely.

That’s already happened, clearly :)

Sorry.

I meant for drinking ! many many years back when I was first married, times were hard and I genuinely virtually gave up drinking other than to buy 4 cans of whatever was on spesh when we did our fridat night shop. After we had our daughter I was the perfect father and so my " Match fitness " went down the pan due to lack of practice.... when I got back on the sauce, I was pissed on two pints ! Marvellous scenes !
