Hi, just wanting to tap into NSC's collective medical wisdom!

Has anyone got any quick remedies for a nasty sore throat, headache, temperature whilst feeling freezing and a runny nose! I'm sure its more a result of being out till 6am every night but i really want to shake it off before tomorrow evening if possible.

I feel really un-student like sitting in my room posting on a message board when i should be living in the pub!!

Any advice much appreciated...

 in advance

Just time.

I had it for two weeks last year, but my house mate had it for five weeks.

Nurofen?

Or just party through the pain barrier?

lemsip is the way forward, also sweating it out, eating hot food (ie curries) and drinking tea, give it a day or so and you'l be fine

Simple

Grate a teaspoon of fresh ginger put it into mug, add juice of a quarter of lemon and add large spoon of honey. Add hot water.

Repeat at 2 hourly intervals

and Bobs your uncle.

Blackcurrent lemsip powder, just add hot water. Works a treat!

you have a runny nose, you are not dying

take some ruddy medicine - have you never been ill before?
