Great stuff !

My lad will be signed up again this year. Making it free though is a master stroke. The kids are the clubs future and this initiative is a great step forward.

Already registered weeks ago now waiting to hear from club.I thought it was brilliant value for money any way for my boy. We saw two free matches last year , we can do the same this year and no subscription to pay for him! He's not so keen on being picked as ball boy in case any of his schoolmates see him. He was drawn out to appear in team photo a couple of seasons ago but chickened out ( thought McGhee might pick him to play!!)

All mine have been junior seagulls since birth (I believe Princess still holds the record for the youngest registered junior seagull as my father in law registered her at minutes old at the club shop when he got the text as he wandered round Brighton town centre, crazy fool!) - Insider, Mini Coach was 7 a couple of weeks ago - will he be getting his shirt when the new one comes on sale?

The picture that says 'gully and his young fans', the next to last image, has Lil' Coach's team's defender in it! How can I copy it to send to his mum? When I right click it does nothing.

Right click on this one Paula...

Pics of the "Young Seagulls" launch at Woodingdean Primary School today already on the club website.

Just found out from Insider that my son's school is not one of those lucky enough to be getting a first team player, pity because as it's Coldean it will be on the doorstep of Falmer, as will Moulsecoomb and that isn't getting one either.

Oh well, signed him up for this offer anyway.

List of schools:
1 Woodingdean Primary School
2 Stanford Jnr School
3 Goldstone Primary School and Nursery
4 Plaistow & Kirdford Primary School
5 St.Paul's Church of England Nursery and Primary School.
6 Manor Field School
7 St John Meads
8 Slinford CE Primary School
9 Midhurst Primary School
10 Balfour Junior School
11 St Bartholemews School
12 Elm Grove Primary
13 St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School
14 Hangleton Junior School

Great to see my boys school on the list, the mighty Goldstone Primary. Always battling the ManU and Chelsea shits there so this will help. My only tiny complaint would be the timing of all this, as the schools have just broken up for 6 weeks!

My daughter goes to Coldean too and it's a shame it's not one of the schools. I note that Bevendean isn't one either.

I applaud the club's efforts to go to schools outside Brighton but I think it's a bit shabby treatment of Moulsecoomb, Bevendean and Coldean to be honest. These were some of the strongest supporters of Falmer (I'm talking about the areas, not the schools) and are more deserving of appreciation from the club than the likes of Balfour.

Oh, and to echo Ram's question, any idea when the merchandise arrives. Anyone got theirs yet?

Agree entirely. My boys go to St Martins CE primary in Hartington Road and that's not on the list either. It's noticeable that the Albion supporting kiddies there come predominantly from the Bevendean side of Lewes Road.
