If you look at his record, it's pretty damn impressive.

He took them from the 3rd tier in French football (as Champions), then won the 2nd tier (As Champions, without losing a home game all season), to Ligue 1 (the top flight).
In 2012/13 they finished 12th, and this season they finished 10th.

Certainly looks good on paper.

How much money do you think has been wasted placing various bets on the 20 or so managers that have been linked.

Newmarket.
Will undoubtedly bring the rest of his coaching staff if he comes:
Fritz Schulders and Eric Neezantose.

They seem to travel everywhere as a three man "team".

It helps he's out of work, why did he leave? He has been replaced at Bastia by Claude Makalele http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SC_Bastia

Also of interest?? Hantz brought 32 year Old Djibril Cisse to Bastia....... what a goal! could do a job at Albion? click "watch on youtube"

Interesting Wiki entry......

He was hired in December 2004 by the team of Le Mans , while the team is in Ligue 2 . This is a coach known for his unusual methods, such as jogging at 6am, speeches in the dark, the choreography for the fans ...
