First Palace caller to Talksport suggesting Roy should have instructed Palace players to 'go down' to buy some time and take the sting out of the game towards the end.

That would be entirely in keeping with their tendency to make stuff up that didn't happen.

And Palace call us bottlers. I hate Palace for making me cheer a Man U goal and boy did I cheer that.
I never thought there'd be an occasion when me and my son were hugging each other, shouting and laughing about Manchester United scoring a goal.

Palace, the filthy dog turd that keeps on giving. So funny!

Got a funny feeling that the Palace game could be when we hit 40 points to mathematically secure safety - now that would be ironic and bloody hilarious!

The only thing that would have made it better would have been Pardew doing a silly dance at 2-0 up.

Even more gruesome, we were spared Roy's dance:

What a perfect (long) weekend of football.

That loss will have killed their players morale.

Chelsea away, hudds away, Liverpool at home up next. Surely they can't turn it around AGAIN.

Hang on hang on. I know how this works...

Easy few games coming up for them, I fully expect them to win the rest of their games and pull off the great escape once again. That should do it.

From where they are it hardly requires a great escape. They're only 1 win from relative (if temporary?) safety.

The thing I really REALLY enjoyed about that Matic strike was the reaction of the Palace fans behind the goal. When it hits the back of the net, almost to a man they physically RECOIL, before the hands go on heads and faces are planted into palms, as the full horror of what just happened properly hits them.

I could watch that all night. In fact I think I might. I just want to drink in the shock, pain and abject misery of every single face behind that goal, and wallow in the despair. Its better than porn.

No way to control it, it's totally awesome Matic, as the Pointer Sisters once nearly sung.

Some I think were clapping. Sly Croydon Reds?

Crystal Palace have now lost all nine Premier League games not to feature Wilfried Zaha this season, by an aggregate score of 3-21.

I think this is my favourite stat of the season.

But they're NOT a one man team of course. Just to make that clear.
