Well as the new [yellow] shirt isn't released yet, why does it metter yet?
Somebody said it was '8' though, and that seems pretty likely.

i just wanted to know if they had said what number he was going to be, seen as the new shirt is out next week, according to someone on here, i felt that the number would have already been assigned.
I didn't say i needed to know it yet, but just before they rekeased the shirt.
Of course if they give him a higher number, say 25, then the club shop will take more cash for numbers!

Totally agree. Squad numbers are shite. Bring back 1-11. I knew where I was then. Number 2 was right back, number 3 was left back etc etc. Where the f*** is number 27 supposed to be on the pitch eh eh eh ?

We should do what Charlton did when squad numbers first got introduced, numbers were allocated alphabetically. Bertin if he signs or Butters in the number 1 shirt?
