He will learn more playing in the 1st XI at Oxford than he would have warming the bench at the Amex.

He is the attacking midfield option we need on the bench, just what we needed yesterday he will learn far more playing 20 to 45 minutes each week for us as sub than he will ever learn getting lumps kicked out of him while playing hoofball at oxford

How is it a massive f*** up ? If anything it was the best thing for JFC as he has been playing regular football and getting experience making him a better player. Id expect him to have an impact from January onwards.

But of course, you have your CMS/Barnes hating glasses on so you ignore the blindingly obvious.

Don`t hate anybody mate, can just see that both are not suited to the way the team is set up

Looks like Gus is learning and admitting letting JFC go out on loan was another monumental fcuk up,he will have learnt sweet fa haveing the ball hoofed over his head for 90 minutes, just hope he still as good as he was before the loan spell. Will Gus go the whole hog and let McSmudger go to Norwich and put Barnes out on loan, i doubt it

I think we should loan out players to the right clubs if they are youngsters to can some experience . This will help our clubs future plans of development of a strong squad. But must be prepared to bring them back if it looks like a mistake.

Bellend indeed. I believe that the loan was part of JFC signing a new contract. Had he not gone out on loan, he may not have signed a new contract at all.

3373 posts of utter, utter misery, bollocks and shit.

I have a pair of those Barnes hate glasses. Never owned the CMS ones though. Didn't know they made any.

Do Oxford play hoofball? Absolutely the right thing to loan him out, but should be to a team who play the passing game. Hope he does come back in Jan. I reckon he could compete for a place with the other CM's we have at the moment. Hate to think his experience would have been a waste of time or even sent his development backwards.

We don't tend to play hoofball. He has spent some of the time warming our bench instead.
Basically he has learnt nothing from his time from us, other than how an awful manager runs a team into the ground. Our chairman invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in sport science technology and personnel, from his first love, Wigan rugby then we have the worst injury crisis for years, thanks to chris wilders training regime.
From a bha perspective it was massively important he was brought back, out of wilders clutches.
