Gregory Duruz

Our latest guest on Stylin’ was the Knights Football Club’s new signing Gregory Duruz. Gregory (or ‘G’) as his homies like to call him, has spent most of his career playing in Switzerland. Last year it transpired that G was far too skillful for European football, so he decided to make the move to New Zealand, where the cream of the foot balling crop reside.

I asked G what he thought of New Zealand so far.

“Well, it is lovely place here yes. I will make time of my life in city of Auckland, the beautiful.”

On the subject of the Knights chances for glory this year G added,

“The Knights are short in summer, and long in winter. I can play ice hockey now in July!”

The Knights will be training hard over the next few weeks in a children's playcentre in Manurewa. Coach Chris Nevin explained that the reason for this was to foster community ownership of the club. G was able to shed further light on this innovative concept by citing the fact that children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way, show them all the beauty they possess inside. . .

Good luck boys.

Sounds like he's a hard bastard.

I have seen the New Zealand Knights in action. Possibly the worst football team I have ever had the misfortune of watching.

What defencive position does he play... I see left-back mentioned above, but is that right?... anyway, we need a winger, IMHO...
