I've seen a few Forfars shops and vans bearing the new name 'fresh'

Perhaps the Falmer campaign hit their takings and they needed to 'refocus their market image' or some such bollocks :censored:

What's that old addage?

'Shit sticks....'

:shootself

Several of them have been branded like that for ages though. I thought it was just a sub-brand of the same old scum.

Are they all set to change then?

I'd LOVE to know how their takings have suffered since the boycott. I'm sure it wouldn't be anywhere near as badly as we'd like but I'd hope you'd see some noticeable patterns of change

That scumbag outfit can call themselves whatever they like as far as I'm concerned. They're tainted goods: & I will never put money in their pockets as long as I draw breath. So there. :annoyed:

Never has a dreadful company selling a repulsive product been more easily boycotted.

I used to frequent Forfars. Shopping trips in Hove with mother and sister required a sandwich in Forfars and perhaps a sausage roll to take home. I think they even made me an Albion cake for my fifth birthday. I take great pride in boycotting the company and do not believe I have eaten there since Cuttress first displayed her fangs.

I take it you have some ties to Forfars. The owners were effectively (Falmer being the only site to which they objected) trying to ruin Brighton and Hove Albion, so why the tumbleweed smiley? Not forgetting to mention that the owners were integral in delaying our bid and costing us countless millions...

No such luck. Cuttress, the Falmer Parish Council mastermind/puppet was trying to derail the new stadium at any opportunity. She married into the Forfars family. I believe her husband is a STH but vehemently against the building of Falmer Stadium. Property prices, no doubt

When I boycotted them, it enabled me to find out that there were other bakeries that were MUCH better, and served superior product.
Even if Forfars were okay with The Albion now, I've moved onward and upward.

Truffles are good, and that shop down Trafalgar St before The Nelson, is great!
Sainsbury's make a seed loaf that I buy every week now, too.

When I set up a 'Ban the Bun' group on Myspace (or was it Facebook), Cuttress Junior laid into me and suggested we go 'toe to toe' !
