Some nice comments on their boards too:-

"I wish you all the luck with your campaign. Brighton have produced some good players over the years."

"Good luck with it all. You've been messed about for too long over the move to Falmer."

"I've always had a soft spot for Brighton for reasons not even I can understand. You deserve a better ground and, if I get the chance, I will sign one of your postcards."

"I used to live around the back of the Goldstone... Clarendon Road, in between Sackville road and Hove train station...

Only went there once but it was a great ground... Top atmosphere. Still remember the £1 a pint Thursday nights at the dog track. I used to play footy in the middle of the dog track for the Old Varndeanians...

Happy days...."

"I enjoyed my time in Sussex... I'd nip down to the Goldstone on the Saturday and off to where Forest were on the Sunday. Decent ground, decent fans and easy to park..."

"I hope you get a ground soon, seems like a lot of political nonsense has got in your way over the years."

"Hope this works for them, they deserve better."

"I think the way this has been handled by the powers that be is a disgrace. It sums up what a pathetic country we live in. I hope you finally get it mate, there is no club around that deserves it more than you guys!"

In exchange for their support, should we be signing their petition on the 10 Downing Street website?

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/knighthood/

Is it possible to give a knighthood to a dead person? has it ever happened before.

I'm going to sign it anyway.

BTW, is it possible to get postcards even if not at the match? would like a few as im not going to the match.... am I right in assuming there will be some in the club shop during the week? seeing as not everyone can make the game.

I am happy to stand at the Forest end handing out postcards, if needs be. To get those that automatically head to the away stand.
Thanks for the offer BoF. For the away end, we should be okay - team of four lined up, plus some steward helpers too.

But if you and a couple of others want to work one of the pre-match pubs, you'd be very welcome. Especially the Brewery Tap or Preston Park. The Sportsman is probably covered. You'd need to be at Withdean for 1.15 to collect the away fan cards.

If that still appeals, PM me before 10.30 tomorrow please.

I am sure I could be tempted into the Brewery Tap. Heading Withdean way early, due to parent location and feeding new cats duty, so more than happy to help out.
