Gus won't under-estimate them - it will be tough.

We could easily have been stuffed last night by a side more confident of taking their chances (Southampton?) - the difference between a good performance and a good result and a poor one are very very slim in this league. I will be happy to win any way we can. :)

I saw Forest against Birmingham City recently and they looked a good side, especially going forward, but when they conceded they completely lost shape and looked like headless chickens. When that happens it is usually about confidence rather than skill which they have in abundance. Look out for Joel Lynch in central midfield - definately the right role for him.

Oh dear, they're a bit down in the dumps at Forest. :lolol::lolol::lolol:

"Well, defensively speaking, we can't mark from crosses, we get done by balls over the top of our full backs, our midfield gets overrun and our centre backs struggle to play it out of defence and end up giving possession straight back to the opposition. Attacking wise we have no movement, no width, no pace and a creative spark who can no longer get in the squad, let alone make the bench." :)

Can take absolutely nothing for granted in this league. We have to be consistently at our best otherwise Forest could easily get a result.

According to their message board, Lynch is doubtful for Saturday.

Just read the whole thread, jesus they dont rate there chances, they need to come on here and see what we have been like for the last 6/7weeks.

i reckon a 1-0 win to us although i did say last night we would draw 0-0 with Derby.

In one way, I agree - we can't take anything for granted, but we've had PLENTY of wins this season when we've been far from our best. We've rarely delivered a complete 95-minute performance (maybe Cardiff?) but have battled through.
Would love to see us play our more fluid attacking style but it's harder to deliver at Championship level.

I hate it when I see the away team are expecting a battering. Hardly ever turns out like that. Will be delighted with another 1-0 win

Can you imagine the binfest on here if we were them?

Look at the unrealistic expectations WE have about our club despite only having 3 years of top flight football in our entire history, whereas they have back-to-back European Cups, from teh days when you HAD to be League Champions (or holders of the Cup) to even qualify for it.

They have just been gubbed 0-4 at home.

They are starring at a relegation battle for sure.

Blimey, it kicked off round here big-style when we slipped to 14th.
