Just watched Boca VS Independiente and the atmosphere is mental, first leg of the south american cup and the away fans are PACKED in jumping up and down, Boca fans throwing an advertising board at the independiente bench, fantastic game as well 3-3. I know they say that we (England) create the best atmospheres but places like that show REAL atmosphere. All of that and I'm 30 quid up after betting 5.5 goals or more!:clap2:

Who says that we create the best atmospheres ? No way near and especially with all-seaters. I would actually go as far as saying we are probably one of the worse in Europe now.

The atmosphere at the Malaga - Panathinaikos game was pretty lively last night too!

Went to the Warsaw derby a few years ago. Legia v. Polonia.
Amazing atmosphere ...... the coins and bricks dropping at our feet and flying by our heads only adding to the sense of occasion. And we were sitting right next to their equivalent of a VIP section too. Truly democratic about their football violence - wherever you are in the ground, you're going to feel part of it.

In truth, still the most electric atmos I've ever experienced in some 30 years of attending football. Would love to try South America though as that always looks the wrong side of mental.

I have to agree. I have been to a number of games abroad and the atmosphere is loads better in most countries. I also do not buy the idea that it is all-seater stadia that has killed English atmosphere. I think it goes a lot deeper than this; it has not dampened the atmosphere here in Germany. If you want to sing you can, seats will not stop you but English reserve will.
