The water effects are quite hard to replicate, he's done very well with that

It looks like someones modelled Cher's "Turn back time" video!!

Great work though, always admire people who have the dedication and patience to construct things like that.

I have the 1/350 Yamato on the go at the moment, its taken me 6 months so far. the Photo etch parts are extremely fiddly ( it took me 3 weeks to complete one set of cranes). I tried once to replicate the waterline, using gel and plaster of parris......its not easy!

I am also using the crew set, and they are so fiddly, at least they come pre painted.

It took me 6 goes to get the deck looking like a wooden deck ( using Windsor and Newton Oils) but I am happy with the outcome....just about to start the railings around the ship.....eeek

You wanna visit the Imperial war Museum, they used to have an astonishing collection of WW2 Navy scale models, but I wouldn't want to ruin my eyesight trying to make one.
