Is it worth it? I'm thinking of getting the 3 month deal as it isn't very expensive so I don't have to keep checking this site or seagulls world for any latest news...

I'm currently subscribed to Seagulls world. If it was a case of one or the other, would you have Seagulls world or the club text...

Cheers

Seems like a bit of a luxury IMHO. How badly do you NEED to know that 25p's worth of text? How will it change your life one way or the other if you don't know the contents of the text til next time you log on to NSC? Besides, news usually hits NSC or is relayed by text via the grapeline before it hits the club text service. And at some point somewhere down the line, even if there's no genuine news, they are just sending out texts for the sake of income-generation. Sorry, but can't think of a single valid reason for subscribing to the club text service, unless its to contribute to club funds on a charitable basis.

I'll stick with the Argus, although that probably works out more expensive over the year.

It isn't a problem how many times they text me because I would pay for like three months in advance, not the pay as you receive a text option lol

Do you get more than just the plain facts, as in rumours or "XXX" is in talks with Russell...

Or is it the plan facts as in "Dicker has signed" or "Russell was pleased with todays win" lol

personally I think its a waste of money, nothing BHA wise is really that important that I couldn't be without instant news. Always got the Argus, club website, NSC, BBC, or if not near a computer Sky sports news or even mobile internet if you are that desperate when on the move

Apart from the text's telling you that the game is off as was a current theme last season the rest of the news sent did seem quite over priced for what it is.
