Made in 1991 during a pivotal moment in South African history, Nick Broomfield's critically-acclaimed film chronicles the collapse of the white supremacist AWB party (Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging) in apartheid South Africa through a portrait of its leader, Eugene Terre'Blanche

Excellent choice, better than Dragons Den which seems to be rather boring nowadays

You're not wrong there. It's just a group of botoxed millionaires looking smug, and I know she's been through the mill health-wise but the haulage woman with the shoulder pads gives me nightmares.

I've had her. Was me and the HACC in the team Austin Allegro returning from Walsall about 35 years. She had broke down in her motor due to a flat tyre. Size 5 changed the tyre for her, Uncle Morty used the jack from the Allegro, Scratchcard just stood around looking dumb so I used a bit of the LP charm, and must confess to a few lager tops beforehand then, BAMM, before you could say Larry Grayson I'd slipped her one over the A34 bridge heading to Wolverhampton.

It was a romantic moment, slightly ruined by me having followed through after too many pints. I'd give her 3/10, 4 if she had kept her teeth in.

Rather than get angry, this is quite funny in their way of thinking, ignorant fools

If this is the driver and the drivers wife program, it started a phrase in our household.
When the woman puts on her awb uniform, and beret, and announces 'looking smart now eh', became standard at home in thick Afrikaans accent.

Very obvious where Louis Theroux got the idea for his general style from!

Take a bow Nick Broomfield! Brilliant television!

Since this post I've racking my brain as to who Nick B got the idea off, I still can't get there, any takers?

Oh and I don't think there's much love lost between Louis T and Nicky B.

The Wikipedia entry for Les Nouvelles Egotistes credits Ross McElwee's 1986 documentary Sherman's March: A Meditation on the Possibility of Romantic Love in the South during an Era of Nuclear Weapons Proliferation.
