You can email them using "contact us" at the bottom of the player page. They replied the next day for me when i complained about getting resubscribe instead of the video link i had clicked on.

If everyone complained about the poor highlights then maybe something would get done. I also watch the other team highlights instead which are biased.

Don't know how I haven't spotted that except I probably never scroll down that far but well done and good idea - I'm sending a complaint now

It is exactly the same footage from the same camera source so no reason it would be more difficult for one club to obtain than another - to my (untutored) eye it looks like it is pre-edited into action sets so the job seems to be one of deleting what is shown rather than any editing. There is an overdubbed commentary which sounds like it is added by the individual clubs

It doesn't work like that. It'll be a BBC or Sky cameraman filming the game and they send the footage to their broadcasters. The home club usually have an arrangment to take a feed live from the camera so that they have their own copy of the match. It's not impossible for the away club to obtain this but it'll depend on how accomodating the home side are, its usually a case of they'll stick a dvd in the post. BCFC have deffo edited that footage themselves. Don't get me wrong, it's not impossible for us to do it, it's just not always as simple as some may think. In theory, extended highlights of our home games would be a lot easier to produce, as you've got a live edit going on during the match itself. I'm not sure why we haven't done it, I suspect, the Withdean Years DVD and perhaps not having enough staff to cover everything, but there may be other reasons.

I dont understand why ours is so shit. Pesonally Im not bothered of seeing inteviews with players, but would be interested in a proper archive with "Classic Matches" - this has all been promised in the past but still does not exist.

There have been some post match interviews with Gus that have been about 14 minutes on the other club's Player-proper interviews with Gus sat at a press conference type desk. We get 2 minutes or so done in the stands.

I mentioned this and the difference in highlights packages to 'Insider' and received his standard response: "I'll pass your message on". Clearly, not much gets passed on because nothing has changed.

Annoyed to hear other clubs have full match replays. I'll stick that on the list.

The longer interview on Cardiff's player with Gus would have been better on our player. We got the usual cowboy effort though.

I signed up for it this year. I agree with most of the complaints but rather than writing a letter I will simply exercise my right not renew my contract, if the service does not improve.

Cool, but you might as well cut and paste your (this) text into the email you can send them by clicking on the "contact us" at the bottom of the player page. That way the rest of us might get a better service similar to other clubs.

Great new feature for the coming season, enjoyed the first one this morning. It was, however, very difficult to hear the questions being asked. Gus's responses were easily listened to but even with headphones on I still struggled to hear a number of the questions. Maybe there needs to be better or more microphones in the room? Not having a moan, just letting you know how it was so it will be better for the next one.

His response?

Yes, it's difficult - short of putting microphones on every journo, but I will pass this on as we may be able to do something.​

Back in the spring when they put the price up they said that we would be getting much better content including HD quality highlights by the end of August.
My quality hasn't improved.
I still think its good for the money, but when you see what other clubs get, it does piss one off slightly.

I contacted Paul Camillin about this too (on Aug 19th). Here's my message to him:

Hi Paul:

Watching the highlights and Gus' interview, firstly on Seagulls Player, then on Cardiff Player it seems as though we don't get anywhere near as good a deal as some other teams. For example: Extended Highlights on Cardiff Player: 19 minutes in addition to the regular highlights on both sites of just under 5 minutes. We don't get extended highlights and it was the same last season. Gus' interview on our site 4:57 on Cardiff's site 7:58. Why is that?

It was mentioned last season and we were told that we would be getting better and longer highlights, etc., but Cardiff's is still clearly much better. Any reason why we can't have the same?

I received his stock reply to most questions and suggestions which is "I'll pass on those comments".

He told me I needed better speakers as he could hear the questions perfectly well.

Yes the quality sucks, Big time. Even in the small window its poor. On full screen on my MAC , it is totally unwatchable. HD my arse.

This, totally this! In the small window everything is too small and you cannot distinguish the players and in full screen everything is too fuzzy to watch. Definitely NOT HD quality.
