What about Andreas Möller?

Went from Dortmund to Schalke - he was for a long while hated by both sets of fans.

The epitome of the arrogant German footballer. Although he did leave behind this gem of a quote - when asked where he wanted to play abroad, he replied, "Milan or Madrid, the main thing is that it's Italy."

The great Pat Jennings from Spurs to Arsenal, although at that time nobody seemed too upset. Woops sorry already mentioned.

So you're saying Man Utd and Liverpool aren't rivals either??

No, because clubs only have 1 rival. Apparently.

I was going to say Joey Beauchamp, but BoF beat me to it. I wasn't suprised someone had, and I wasn't suprised it was him. :( Fair play!

But Man U have a rival in City. Therefore, Leeds can not be their rival.

There was a survey recently when they asked supporters of different teams who they considered their rivals
Spurs said Arsenal
Arsenal said Chelsea
Chelsea said Man Utd, as did Liverpool, Leeds and City.
United said Liverpool.
So it's not necessarily local or reciprocal.

Schmeichel ending up at City didn't go down to well.

Figo has to be the worst though....

Tevez has got to be up there aswell....

Sol Campbell is an obvious one. The biggest in terms of contoversy was probably Mo Johnston, who agreed to join one old firm club, then pulled out last minute (AFTER the photocall) and signed for the other.

Although the real significance of that deal was that fact that he was the FIRST Catholic to play for Rangers
