We must have played in the same BB team. I was there about the same years.

No doubt then!!

I played left-back, keeper, CM and CB and was captain the last couple of years before taking my ref's course and reffing BB games for a few years. That should make it easy to work out who I am.....

Numerous Westows teams...sadly that's it, looked at a few weekend teams but as a) I'm cack and b) they've all taken themselves way too seriously it seems destined to never happen. Hey ho.

Edit; I somehow forgot my stellar two seasons playing for Benfield Junior School. Oh yes.

Sorry if I missed anybody out.
I saw you play for Albion Reserves a couple of times. I only went to see if you were any good. I always said you were a bit short for your position but you played well.
I played for Woodingdean Juniors 1966-67. My first game my dad said if we scored a goal - my twin brother played as well - he would give us sixpence each. When we got home I said I scored 4 goal and my brother scored 5 and we won 11-0 and we expected more money but oh no my dad did not believe us.
Stanmer Seniors 1968-1972. Moulsecoomb Targets 1973 in Sussex Sunday Junior League where we reached the Cup Final which was played at Southwick's ground. I thought we won 4-0 but my brother said we lost 4-0. One of us is right! A couple of other Sunday League teams during the years but gave up when I came on as a sub and scored 4 goals and won 8-2 but the following week was still sub.

Battle
Not sure about the youth team but the front team folded about 5 years ago, shame as nice place to play and plenty of decent pubs for after match beers.

That is a shame. I grew up in Battle but haven't lived there for about 10 years now. Used to like watching the games at the Rec on the horribly sloping pitches!
