football scores and tables on the same page

On the old BBC Football web site you could click on a single link that would take you to a page displaying all the Championship results including scorers on the left, and the league table on the right. I don't think you can do this any more unless someone knows better?

Anyway for reasons I won't bore you with, the bottom line is I need a link to anywhere on the web that will display scores, scorers and the table on ONE page.

Does anyone know of a web site or iPhone app that does this?

Remember ... the key is ONE single page with no requirement to click any other button!

Cheers folks!

If you want easily accessed information don't bother with the new BBC sports pages - if ever there was a case of one step forward and ten back this is it! Designed by tekkies with no understanding of the prime purpose and content and even then they couldn't get the simple navigation mechanics right. Absolutely dire :(

Thanks - I knew about all those links suggested and while they come close none of them provide what I am after. The live scores link on the BBC site is only useful while the matches are in progress and even then, I think you have to click into each game to see the scorers.

I agree with you completely severnside. It is quite astonishing that someone allowed this new site to go live. Change for the sake of change. What a waste of the licence fee.

The old site was easy to navigate. This one is a nightmare! I've always used the BBC site for my football news, might have to find another... Suggestions?

BBC Sport - Brighton v Millwall

This page will show scores and tables when up and running. A bit slow to do so though.

I wish I could shake off a virus as easily as Lewis Dunk.

I disagree, you don't like it at the moment I can see. But I would bet that if they make another big change in a couple of years you'll be complaining about how it's got worse. Check out some fo the new features, the tables and stats are much, much better. The minute by mintue stuff is much better too as are the story pages.

Once upon a time, the BBC tried to organise its webpages in a way that ensured that every page could be reached from the home page with no more than four clicks. I very much doubt whether the redesign can deliver this.

Definitely a backward step by an organisation that we should be expecting to extend good practice, not abandon it.

i f***ing hate the new bbc sport website. i really do. i'd rather hammer a rusty nail through my left knacker, whilst subjecting my right knacker to repeated blows from jockey whip, than use it for sports news.

Im glad Im not the only one that quite likes the new website. I think it looks smart and although things arent in the same place as they used to be, I dont think its got any harder to find what you are looking for.

The basic layout is still oretty much the same on the home page and instead of having a big list of options on the left they are now along the top. Might take an extra click here and there but its all there still and pretty easy to navigate.

The whole BBC website is undergoing a gradual change.
