Next Thursday I'm gonna start playing football again, first time in a few years after a couple of injuries :(

Thing is I need to get some new football gear such as Shinpads, Socks and boots.

I will be playing on astro-turf or 3g or whatever you wanna call it? Apparantly it's not real turf, but looks and feels like it.

Anyway can anyone give me an idea of where to get this kind of stuff??

I don't wanna spend a mint really, so if there is a shop or website could you post it here please?

Thanks ;)

Its not the cheapest shop ever, but Swift Sports is pretty good I think. Good stuff in their and quite often has big discounts.

I concur, always found www.prodirectsoccer.com really good, had much more in stock than most High Street shops, and speedy delivery.

Used to find the bloke in Swift Sports a bit strange.

Wisdom Sports:lolol:

But Sports Direct (World) usually do that sort of stuff for rock bottom prices. Nearest one is Crawley/Brighton if you're in the Heath.
