Not news to me. When my son was at primary school about 6 years ago, football was banned from playgrounds and even the school field.
Yet they allowed cricket, until the stumps became weapons. haha

Hang on. Primary school kids shouldn't be enjoying themselves.
Go to a primary school and watch them at school sports, passing the beanbag down the line. I questioned the headmistress at my sons school years ago as to why they don't have proper races at their school sports and the stupid cow said that the children didn,t enjoy competition at primary school age. I informed her that I knew who the fastest kids were because the children had organised their own races in the school playground on their own and my son had told me who were the quickest children.
