Is it likely the temperature will fall greatly after sunset? This seems to predict 7C to 2C and 95% humidity. Could that trigger fog?

The 95% humidity would be a concern. As air cools, its ability to hold moisture in vapour form decreases, so 95% humidity at 4C, would possibly generate fog at 3C. It would depend on the dew point.

Still a bright blue sky here in BN1, albeit tempered by the loonies in Preston Park area who have for some reason all decide to simultaneously light giant smoky fires and BURN stuff outdoors. As a result, there's a very noticeable PALLOR in the air. What's that all about?

and Lewes is now showing no fog until 2300?!

And if you search "falmer" for BBC it shows no fog. Looks pretty 50/50.

Or more likely they're like pollsters and just bluffing their way through as best they can to try and justify the fees for their services. In the end, the weather will do its own thing.
