Floods in Cornwall

Its been raining persistently for over 72hrs and even this morning the Fire brigade are pumping out water from houses and my local. When will it stop bloody raining? haven't seen anything like it in 24yrs of living in Cornwall.

I suspect the deterioration in weather over this past few years is something we're going to have to get used to - not a pleasant thought.

Reckon the people of Boscastle may call bullshit on that one!

Not sure where you are, but when I lived between Truro and Falmouth, Victoria Square in Truro flooded at least twice. I remember it was under about 4 feet of water. They've sorted out the flood defences now, so I think it won't happen again.

We are in Perranporth. Boscastle was devastating but the difference this time is that flooding is far more widespread.
