[Travel] Flight cancelled

As the title states I’ve had my flight cancelled due to poor weather. loganair are refunding both legs my query is regarding a hotel room that’s been booked. Are they liable to foot the bill for that or do I need to wear it?

Don’t think they are - you can claim on travel insurance usually (if you have it), but they will probably want to see confirmation from the airline that they’re not covering it.

If it's not part of a package I think you will need to wear it.
I'd imagine they will refer you to travel insurance.

I'm not sure whether it exists, but there should be some kind of online platform where people can 'sell' the hotel bookings they have made when things like that happen.

Is your flight the only flight cancelled or are all flights cancelled?

I would imagine mines the only flight cancelled as I’m currently working on an island only 1 flight a day and prop engines
