A few people on here probably rate it as their favourite in town. It's excellent, though pricey. Definitely worth a go for a special occasion.Has anyone here ever tried The Little Fish Market? It looks like it would be good and it's on the list above but never managed to visit it myself.
It was a few years ago that I went but it was great back then.Has anyone here ever tried The Little Fish Market? It looks like it would be good and it's on the list above but never managed to visit it myself.

I like Casa Don Carlos. It's definitely not fancy, but great for a family or mates mealAs it happens, I’ve been looking for a decent restaurant in Brighton for next Saturday night. It’s slightly up in the air whether I’ll have my wife and two young kids with me, or if it’ll just be me and a couple of mates, but I need to find somewhere that fits both eventualities. Basically, a nice place with good food, but not necessarily too fancy.
So far, from a bit of research I’ve narrowed it down to:
Manjus
Chamuyo
Latino Americano
Case Don Carlo
Any standout recommendations, either on or off the above list?
Yes, a few times. Expensive but a totally different experience to any other restaurant.Has anyone here ever tried The Little Fish Market? It looks like it would be good and it's on the list above but never managed to visit it myself.
If you're doing Casa Don Carlos, book NOW or you won't get in. Needs at least four people so you can have several dishes. I love it in there. As it happens, I’ve been looking for a decent restaurant in Brighton for next Saturday night. It's a favourite of ours, too. We've never had a bad meal or even a mediocre meal there. You're right to say book in advance as it is very popular. If you're doing Casa Don Carlos, book NOW or you won't get in. Needs at least four people so you can have several dishes. I love it in there.
Could do a lot worse than the Shelter Hall in both instances - https://shelterhall.co.uk/As it happens, I’ve been looking for a decent restaurant in Brighton for next Saturday night.
