Sad.

The High Court in London today ruled that Fisher Athletic Football Club be wound up with immediate effect. The owners QC argued for more time to pay the Inland Revenue a figure reported to be in and around GBP 250,000.00 but to no effect. Companies House had earlier dissolved Fisher Athletic from their records.

DOWN BUT NOT OUT!

The Official website will remain operational and updated throughout the summer and beyond as the 'Acting' Supporters Trust look to explore further possibilities and reform the club lower down the Non league pyramid in the near future.

That shows the true divide between the Premier League and the rest. And the shame about it all is, tat is only for ONE SHIT player...

How did they get 250k in the shitter?

thats what i thought, i recall it was always busy round there when i passed on matchday (lived/shopped/drinked round their for 6 odd years). lots of Millwall shirts, assume they picked up support when Millwall was away (or just cheaper).

Were sharing with Dulwich Hamlet at Champion Hill.

might explain it, support unwilling to travel, got above a level they could sustain.

got above a level they could sustain.

just as Lewes did...their fans don't know how lucky they are to still be in existence for all the shit they have been through in the last year

(having said that they will probably go tits up next week):wozza:
