With 'Fixture Friday' just days away what would your ideal first five games of the season be and why? This includes the first two rounds of the Carling Cup for which we are seeded.
August 6th- Home to Forsest. Big club to beat at home in front of the cameras with new manager who has yet to pay the price for being Englands worst ever!
August 9th- Carling Cup. Crawley/AFC Wimbledon. Both teams due to compete in some pre season play off match to see which is in first round proper. Will be full capacity Due to The Falmer Effect!
August 13th- Away to Middlesborough. Get the longest trip over with as soon as possible with the weather being still decent etc
August 20th. Home to The Scum. If we play them this early we in with a chance of reinstating a Boxing Day Tradition.
August 23rd. Carling Cup. Having got through. Southampton. Home or away. Just because we hate them. All that in one month. What a season it would be!!

For what it's worth, here's my complete guess out of thin air:

1) Doncaster (h)
2) Swindon (h) - Cup
3) Derby (a)
4) Bristol City (h)
5) Watford (a)

Worthing
I was doing a job at the weekend for a guy in Patcham, and he tells me that he's that he's bought a ST at Falmer ( East ), only ever seeing the Albion twice at the Goldstone.

He swears blind that the fixture list has already come out, and that we've got West Ham at home in the first.

Don't you just love the jcl's?

I would love that. Doncaster first game would be so right and the other teams a chance to get some points on the board at the beginning of the season.
