Having done my daily exercise this morning, I do think there needs to be a clear ‘instruction’ for adults not to do their exercise with other adults, even if they live in the same household.

Far too many groups of people out walking four or five abreast down pavements.

Daily exercise for adults should be a solo activity.

Funny a few weeks ago a hand full of people cycling, walking and running. Now there’s a lockdown every feckers out.

Drove to the plot for my daily exercise and saw more people out and about than I would have liked. I really hope we don't blow this.

The selfish amongst us are going too I'm afraid. Morons just do not get it. Total wankers.

There's a couple around my way that seem to find it a challenge how many times they can go out in a day.

I thought that. Surely not a problem if they're just in their front gardens?

Aye...home includes garden in my book....obviously if they were mingling a bit different I guess ...words can paint a picture and sometimes it’s hard to understand what’s being meant.....I’ll plead guilty to talking to several of my neighbours on Thursday after the ‘clap’ standing a good twenty foot apart checking up to make sure they were ok

Personally think the lack of driving to remote areas is causing too much congestion in central Brighton’s parks and beaches. We have an abundance of land where we are but people are told not to drive so anyone living in centre town descends to the same areas.

People want to use their daily exercise allowance so let them drive and get away from heavily populated areas.

A girl on my road today turned 18, she lives on a house on the corner of a fork. She had her 'party' in the street, which involved her drinking in a deckchair on one side of the road, a neighbour drinking in an armchair from indoors outside her gate on the other side of road A, and another neighbour in an outdoor chair at the bottom of the drive on the other side of road B. All dressed up for a party night out - all 20'+ away from each other. Should have taken a photo as an ideal example of how to change your behaviour in these times!

I don't get it , aren't they just doing what you're doing ?!

I must admit I'm getting confused now generally with the whole situation. There's seems to be a growing number of do gooders on social media shaming people who are going out at all !!

I went for a 2 hour cycle today in london but i was always at least 2 metres away from anyone else. Pretty easy on a bike really. Was slightly shocked to see cycle groups out though, 7 or 8 people together.

That's wrong. It's been made clear throughout that exercising on a bike ride for example, with someone from your own household, is fine.

It's easy to always maintain 2 metres from others.

What would be the epidemiological scientific basis for stopping that.

Perhaps you could tell that to the three separate pairs of cyclists who forced me to move out the way for them because they wanted to cycle side by side down the path I was running on?

While you’re at it, can you tell the ‘family’ of five adults who took up the whole pavement forcing me to run into the road.

They and others are not respecting 2 metres and making it difficult for other individuals who are to exercise safely.

It's not just runners those people annoy.

Been on a couple of rides recently and people sauntering along side by side, on bikes or on foot. My personal favourite are people wandering down the middle of a pathway oblivious to everything going on around them. Just stick to the chuffing edges!

On my way back from work today I saw groups starting to gather along Hove seafront. Was rather busy. Hope it’s just sensible people getting their exercise in early. Think idiots are going to head out today.

I'm one of the early exercisers here now. It's not bad at all. No groups. Just single joggers. Dog walkers and couples
