Now we are in the lead, Aussies would have to bat again...we need to bat out for five overs to get a draw...now further ahead!

Come on James and Monty!!!

The roar from the crowd when England took the lead :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Anderson's two successive fours, however, surely mean that within moments he will get carried away and get out?

We can still do this.

I am listening to R5...they are counting down the overs and say 6.4 overs to go.

What's your point??? I completely accept that Australia have been the better side in this game in all departments. The point about them being worse than previous sides is merely because of all the stars they've lost in recent years- Warne, McGrath, Hayden, Langer, Gilchrist and so on, therefore on paper, they are a worse side. Presumably, though, they'll start to make a name for themselves pretty soon.

No wonder you are a rozzer, what a pedant ! it does not matter who they put in the baggy greens if their XI beats our XI !

Two overs lost due to the turnaround, according to TMS.

Assuming they get out in the next few balls, any chance of England bowling underarm when Australia get in?

Make that six overs to go...we are now three overs away from drawing the game because you lose the over in play and two more for the change in innings.

5 overs to go, 6 runs ahead.
Meaning if we lost a wicket , in this next over, they'd need around 7 to win from 2 overs. So basically we have to bat 2 more overs.
