Just watched Newlands Shool's display. Not as good as previous years. The people over the back are having a display (so I let off a Rookie, as I can't be blamed for the noise).

Going to a wedding celebration tomorrow night and they are having fireworks.

God, I love this time of year.

Why ?? We had a couple of small boxes in the garden last night and my 3 1/2 year old son absolutely loved it.

It really annoys me the "ban it" brigade seem to call for a ban on anything that anybody enjoys. Get a life !!!

The police already have powers to fight the anti-social side of people letting fireworks off late at night - they just chose not to enforce the rules or don't have the manpower to do anything.

I think I'm going to ask for drinking and smoking to be banned as they are far more anti-social than fireworks. Let's see how quickly publicans complain about that idea !!!!!!

Just to say that anyone who went to Lewes last night witnessed one of the best firework displays ever seen in the town.

Considering how few people live around here the fireworks started off about 6PM and went of until about 11PM with a short reprise about 1AM.
