Love it , bring back gully’s girls aswell
Not for me - its tacky and ruins the teams coming out. Cant see anything from East Upper for 2 mins after and kills the singing of GOSBTS.
Can’t see the big screen?[emoji6]

You can easily ignore any thread you are offended by. Our play and position in the league are completely irrelevant to the subject.
It took about 10 minutes to clear from the West Upper, it's mildly unpleasant and obscures the view, pretty pointless from my perspective and I wish they'd stop. I keep seeing people mention kids loving it, my two (teenager and 21) think it's naff.
Unless there is a requirement from the PL/TV then this should be stopped now.
Half hearted display which just fills the ground with smoke which reduces vision and its unpleasant to breath in smoke fumes.
One for the FAB to ensure is dropped immediately.
There have been flares at the Amex. There was a big feature in the match programme today about getting tougher on people who bring pyrotechnics to matches. One of the reasons for banning pyrotechnics in stadia is because of the health and safety impact on spectators, in particular those who suffer from asthma. So, whilst it might look nice and add to the atmosphere, I don’t get how the club can take a strong stance against pyros and set them off within 10 metres of spectators.
Good grief - loads on here regularly complain about the lack of atmosphere - the club try to something about it - and even that's wrong.
What annoys me the most is the sudden empathy for people with asthma. I have it but wasn't there yesterday. Didn't affect me at the Newcastle match though. It's strange that those that have a sudden concern for us with asthma didn't have the same concern when we didn't need to wear masks during Covid.
I have never seen a flare in The Amex... only smoke bombs.
Palace had all sorts of Pyros for the evening game when some of their fans jumped the turnstiles.
Can’t say I know the difference in names of pyrotechnics but some were just smoke, others loud bangs and flashes and some definitely glowing bright.
The flashing was just little led lights

I am West Upper and I don't recall any problem watching the first 10 mins of the match. Sounds like you have two chips off the old grumpy block...
Well said this man..! I am stunned to find out that the average age on NSC appears to be 87, at least mentally if not in years...
Absolute rubbish. The view was hazy and the smell whilst not being awful was not pleasant. It's not a big deal. Not everyone can comprehend that something they find insignificant, could impact anyone else.
"The view was hazy and the smell whilst not being awful was not pleasant" - Oh my God...I didn't realise just a terrible it must have been for you...
"It's not a big deal" - oh good so I presume you'll stop making a fuss about it?
Again, five seconds of fireworks has ZERO impact on the match atmosphere. If the team plays well and scores goals, there's no problem.
