Just heard on 5 Live traffic report that there is a building fire on Preston Circus. Anyone any ideas which? Hopefully not Duke of Yorks.

Talksport just said it's viaduct road, so it's either a house, the take away on the corner near ditchling road, the business centre, the hare and hound, or the fire station.

Walked up Ditchling Road earlier and no fires, when walking the dog no smoke signals down the hill either.

However two bif F off chinook looking helicoptors flying around the racecourse area, making a racket. What was all that about.

Tsk! You do yourself an injustice. We ALWAYS need plod at fires. Who else would undertake all the essential tasks... like, err wrapping coloured tape around lamp posts.

Undertaken by my very good self this morning as the police took an absolute age to turn up to a car vs cyclist.

Sadly, the cyclist did not look too good.

Just by Junction 8 on the M25 if anyone knows what happened to him? I can't find any news about it.
