It was always going to happen, a touch of pace and trouble was on the horizon, that is why Lynch and Elphick worked well together, they both covered for the others week areas.

He couldn't do any worse, even on his own. It just defies all belief that a professional, a man who is PAID to watch football every day of the week, leaves a talent like Lynch on the bench (after an excellent game on Tuesday) and then stands there watching Scunthorpe f***ing United tear our imbeciles apart.

Can anyone offer ANY explanation?

I'd much rather we went with Lynch & Elphick they work well with each other.

It was dire today and there were four defensive errors and four goals. Having said that, I'm not convinced Lynch is going to be any better. When he came on, everytime he got the ball he hoofed it up the park and gave it away. Our problem is an ineffectual midfield who don't get in the game. They don't play the ball out to the wide men (Mcleod must be pissed off waiting for a pass), they don't get a grip on the game and concede control. It should have been 3-2 at one stage but instead it went to 4-0. Three home leagues games and three inept performances.
