I doubt if Mike Bassett would be in any serious film fans top 500 let alone top 8. Ok, its a reasonablyfunny and entertianing film but one of the top 8 of all time ?. I think not. Ridiculous.

I agree with Spielberg but Bassett got enough votes to see itself into the Quarters. I also Agree Pulp should have Shawshank in final however I drew it randomly and that is how it was drawn...

This is nothing to do with the greatest films, you are correct is isn't in Empires top 500 films but this is in a football forum, so it isn't a surprise a football film is being nominated...
