I watched it again this morning - what a mental and deeply strange film that is. David Lynch's weirder stuff is pretty dreamlike too.

Agree about the work of Lynch, although more of a nightmare than a dream.

I would add Jacobs ladder and Donnie Darko, (although obviously they were intended to be dream like),

I find a lot of Hitchcock has that kind of slightly trippy feel to it, with odd things occuring which are treated as if nothing is out of place.

I just bought David Lynch's "Rabbits" off of eBay. Very strange and surreal!

Wonderfully weird but heartily recommended viewing is 'City Of The Lost Children', a french fillum what is quite good. Terry Gillam expressed his great respect, and said it was the film he wished he was good enough to make (or something along those lines)
