FIFA 08 on the WII

Is it any good?

Reviews seem to be quite contrasting - some say the controls work others say it is terrible.

Anyone on here got IT?

I was always an EVO man meself, never did like FIFA.
I can't see how the Wii controls would be any good for a football game to be honest. At a guess, I reckon its probably SHIZER.

PES is MILES better than FIFA but not out on the Wii.

PES is far better I promise, Fifa is a nightmare to play and when you find out how to score you can do it over and over.

Also scoring isnt that satisfying, its more like the ball hitting a wall than a net. Crap.

The Wii controls on Resident Evil 4 and Metroid are WONDROUS, they bring a whole new lease of life to those type of games and the results are SPECTACULARLY good, probably the most fun you can ever have with your trousers on. But trying to use a nunchuck and a pointy Wii remote to play a football game is just BONE.

On the PS3 and 360 Fifa 08 is FANTASTIC, wheras PES is AVERAGE.

Got Fifa. Like most Wii games, great fun with friends, but a bit of a drag on your own. The idea is cool, but gets tiresome after a while. All i know is, my right forearm will be massive!

It looks interesting. It'll be the first time they've had a complete revamp of the controls. I'll probably get it, but it'll hard to make the adjustment, as I've played it on the PS2 since PES1.

Can't speak for FIFA on Wii though, I've not played it.
