Sir Alex has been retired long enough, so the mantle of late late late goals needs to be handed over to Graham

The team is so fit. Too bad some stats company bought the GPS distance stats and are selling it to shitloads to elite clubs because it would have been interesting to see. I have a feeling few teams, if any, run as much as Brighton and really keep going to the last minute. That said today the team was out of fuel for the last ten minutes but sometimes just creating that one last chance is enough.

Yes - but 'Fergie Time' was really called that because refs seemed to give additional time to Man Utd to enable them to score because they were in awe / scared of him. That's not happening with us - we're just leaving it late enough so the opposition don't have time to get a winner.

The difference is we are scoring late goals in legitimate added time, whereas Ferguson used to cajole and put pressure on refs to add time on...

You stay in games, you always have a chance.

Lots of other comparable teams will score a late goal, but have shipped 2 or 3 so the goal becomes a consolation, rather than an equaliser
