Yes he shakes, but when is important too.
Guity or Innocent Ferd gets to look the bigger man by offering his hand first or the victim by responding (or not) if Terry offers first.

He gets to look like he has the patience of saint if he offers a hand to him BEFORE they meet on the pitch! (and off camera gets to say what he wants)

Exactly, it's a confidence thing. Obviously I'd judge any different situation on it's merits, but one comment from one person who, lets face it is an arsehole, should be easily brushed off or dealt with if you've got anything about you.

There has always been niggle between Rio Ferdinand and John Terry. If that hadn't have existed I reckon this would never have been an issue
