With respect. Rubbish.
With respect. There were massive holes in our right back position last Saturday. Villarreal got some good success there. Veltman is more of a centre back these days but Hinshelwood seemed to improve the situation in the 2nd half.

I’d be happy to see Lamptey play there if he didn’t have injury issues constantly.

If we sign Ferdi, he’ll be our No.1 RB. His pace means he’ll be in the right place at the right time and those gaps should be closed.

He was - and will only get better. He has all the attributes to be a terrific full back.

I really don't understand why people bang on about him 'being a centre midfielder'. He's a kid, who does not HAVE to be pigeon-holed.

Circumstance, opportunity, coaching, and attributes will all combine organically to determine where he ends up (predominantly) featuring.

And right now, that's very likely at right back.
Agreed. He was superb at RB last season. Seriously superb. A threat going forward, very good in defence and a fantastic engine. He was a huge miss in the second half of the season.

In your opinion.

So when Paul Barber says ...don't believe what you might be reading ... he really means. Yes. Really do believe everything you're reading. ha ha.
I did comment that I tend to ignore anything PB says about player incomings and outgoings yesterday, on one of your posts too I think!

He’s a deflector

I think so; most other things have been from Turkey.
So he’s basically picked up on Turkish reports then? That’s his normal MO tbf.

Take the credit for someone else’s work.

You don't leave the lighthouse and go to Brighton. If you were going to go, it should have gone to a better team.

Cry me a river bitch !!

For me, this is the one that i really want to happen... All looks incredibly promising if the reports are to be believed but i have to say that the club have already gone above and beyond imho this window and so should it not come to fruition, there wont be any gripes from me.

Would far rather get this done, than Rutter (not that it works like that).
