My understanding is that AWB’s departure was supposed to enable the signing of Mazraoui from Bayern.

Agree. I think it’s probable that if there was any contact between Fenerbahçe and Man Utd, it involved player swaps. Man Utd have already spent a load this summer and have struggled to offload squad disrupters like Sancho.

I can almost guarantee that Fenerbahçe will want cash, not players.

Chelsea have 55 players in squad according to White and Jordan and Utd can do whatever they want and get special dispensation from league so I expect one of them to get him...BUT IT WOULD BE EFFING BRILLIANT HE ACTUALLY WANTS TO COME HERE, which I don't think is the case with O'Riley!
