On subject matter are we all Lille fans for next week or do you think the CLwill have no bearing on his thought process. Imo I reckon he will go Arsenal

What was RDZ's fallout count if this is true then? I make it, in order?

Trossard
Sanchez
Dahoud
Pedro
Fati

Anyone else I've missed?

I thought this was quite revealing from an interview Undav gave last week.

Football is full of socially inept absolute weirdos.

The more stories that come out about RdZ the more he seems like another one.
That's very harsh and pretty much unfounded. The socially inept amongst us tend to be just that, with little or no persona and ability to light the room. RdeZ has personality in abundance and the video that was shown that show him and his coaching team laughing, eating and talking football has no hallmarks of him being socially inept or weird.

To be fair, De Zerbi could fall out with anybody or any thing at any given time.
Except player of the sea st on and Albion legend Pascal Gross who said in his leaving letter that RDZ was the most influential coach he’d known.

He's surely being targeted to play on the right, but i wonder if Estupinan is being looked at as a LCB to provide some pace there and allowing Ferdi to play LWB where he seems to play most of his games.

Great versatility to have.
Given he can play just about anywhere, I'm not fully convinced that he's 'surely being targeted to play on the right'.

About time that RDZ got some good press instead of the NSC hatchet job.

I actually like the bloke, probably our best ever manager.

My comment wasn't to slate him or be part of the NSC hatchet squad, it was a humorous comment and no more.

Even the most ardent De Zerbi fans cant deny he was/is a bit of a bolshy pr!ck some times!

There's many different ways of being socially inept. I've known some very extroverted people who can't help but bulldoze others in social situations or be extremely antagonistic or unempathetic with no awareness of what they're doing or the impact of that.

But yes it was worded harshly I'll admit.

It’s probably what made him so good, motivators like him lift the majority of players to new heights, some won’t respond but that’s no different to all management styles

Are we sure that by "influential" he didn't mean "made me realise it was vitally important I return to Germany as soon as possible to get away from him and any memory of him"?

Stop it… the revisionist clowns on here have said he was a bad man therefore in true NSC parlance , he is!
