If a shot en route to goal touches Fellaini's hair, but not his head. Is it his goal?

Interesting question.

I guess the same could be asked of a ball hitting a flapping shirt when a skinny player is wearing XXXL.

Though I think the more interesting question is: can Fellaini's hair be offiside, or (in defence) play a striker onside? If yes, you could argue that his haircut puts him at a disadvantage.

Would Coneheads be allowed to play football, given their distinct height advantage at freekicks and corners?

If it hits his hair , and deviates at all - then its his goal, obviously.

Well it would definitely have deviated, but not noticeably to the human eye.

The offside question is a good one! Is it not done by the torso, like a sprinter at the tap?

I cannot see a ball deviating just because it has hit someone's hair.
Unless of course he had put some newly developed ultra-extra-super firm hold hairspray on his bounce.
The FA need to clarify this point or there is going to be arguments in the future.
