Yes and yes...it's a council owned garden although you're always welcome to hand bundles of cash in used notes to the gardener

Don't feed the ducks in Queens Park. It has been invaded by seagulls that are attracted by the bread. They ate 60 odd ducklings a few years ago.

Seagulls really are the scum of the earth. I would certainly be up for changing our nickname back to the Dolphins or to something new.
