Not a big fan as most of their stuff was average and saved by Freddie Mercury's voice and delivery imo. Good live band for that reason and the fact they they were all good musicians and that Mercury was one of rocks all time great showmen ( Best performance on Live Aid 1)
To me this was the absolute highlite of the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, many other "stars" had tried to sing Freddies part in Queens biggest hits that day but nobody came close. George Michael not only did the song justice but, IMHO, actually improved on the original.
Not a great fan of Queen but got addicted to "Spread Your Wings" when at college since it was the longest song on our jukebox - hence best value for money (and there was nothing good on it anyway).
