If you're after a traditional style english football stadium, Anfield is f***ing unbelieveable. So enclosed and compact, its perfection as far as I'm concerned. I loved it, and it will be a tragedy when they get a new stadium.

Way out west
Staying with friends in Alnwick, which is a few miles to the north, have only been to that area once before (briefly) and remember it as being stunning.

I went to anfield this season and thought it was rubbish - great atmosphere but the stadium is old and a bit ramshackled. The seats in the kop have absolutely no leg room - god knows what would happen if the stewards got the fans to sit down.

Best prem stadium i've been to recently was the reebok - I was just so impressed with how it looked, the fantastic transport links etc.

Haven't been to that many but was quite partial to the GOLDSTONE

Old Trafford definitely over rated. On the other hand City of Manchester Stadium is very impressive

one stand is superb! 2 are good and the other one is shite!

I was in the West Stand for our game there. I wasn't all that impressed with it to be honest. I agree the East Stand looks like something out of the past. The back looks like the rear wall of a rather nasty block of council flats. The best I have been to is Coventry. It has an excellent away end, with a huge concourse and plenty of refreshment bars. The City Ground was good too.

Stamford Bridge is and always has been complete WANK. Once, simply soulless because you were miles from the pitch, now soulless because of the shameless corporate plastic feel and of course utterly overpriced.

Boelyn is better - it's in a crap hole of course, but at least it feels real and can generate an atmosphere.

And as for Anfield, I've always thought that place was overrated. I parked nearby and a couple of scallies came up demanding money to "mind my car". grrr! Once inside, nothing special either - and Hillsborough's kop is more impressive than Anfields...

St Emirates at the moment!

Awesome and a pitch you could play snooker on!

South London
Premiership - Villa Park, Old Trafford's over-rated

Championship - Pride Park but Turf Moor's nice in a funny way

One - Bradford or Huddersfield

Two - Peterborough without a doubt

Conference - Kidderminster closely followed by Halifax

I went there once, the season the Matthew Harding stand opened before all the plastic fans started going. Have to say, was quite impressed with it.
