Gareth Wesson, extremely lardy goalkeeper for Newport County, deserves some recognition. He was a key element in the defeat of Cardiff City in the FAW Premier Cup semi-final - which went to a penalty shootout. I don't think he saved a single shot - he hasn't got the agility for that sort of stuff - but the fact that the Bluebird penalty takers had to shoot wide of him meant that several of them missed completely.
