Sorry , but I can't let that pass. You may not like Allardyce and his style of football but "lucky at Bolton"? How is it lucky to take a middling team into the Premier League and keep them there for several years, qualifying for Europe and getting diamond performances from players that no one else wanted to risk buying. The job he did at Bolton was staggeringly good. And I still have a vague memory of his Notts County team (which ran away with the title) turning us over comprehensively at Priestfield many years ago. Like him or loathe him, he knows what he's doing.
